Venyuory Chhun

Venyuory Chhun has four years of teaching experience in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She is working as an English teacher at the Australian Centre for Education, IDP Cambodia. Besides teaching, she serves as a mentor and trainer for the IELTS Mentorship Program supporting her colleagues in improving IELTS band scores. Additionally, she is an observer whose role is to provide feedback on teachers' lesson planning and to support them in their professional development. At IDP, she also works as the CamDEBATE coordinator, offering soft skills training to volunteers.
Prior to joining IDP, Yuory was an assistant to academic manager at Learning Jungle International School. Her main responsibilities were to supervise student learning, and to support teachers in their lesson planning, materials preparation, and teaching techniques.
Outside her professional role, Yuory is an active member of the FUSAAC alumni association in Cambodia. She has been involved in many social projects benefiting Cambodian youth, with a focus on education, such as soft skills training and scholarship opportunities.
Yuory is an alumna of the Global UGRAD program. During her program, she studied English specialized in education and research at Nazareth College, New York. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English education from the Royal University of Phnom Penh.
Reaksmeychhorpon Long

Reaksmeychhorpon Long was placed at University of Wyoming, studying chemical engineering in 2016. Returning to Cambodia, she has dedicated her heart and soul to becoming a full-time entrepreneur. Her start-up, HathKal Lab converts tons of local produce into valuable essential oils. As a direct result of her start-up, approximately 100 farming families now have gainful employment.
Reaksa Pin

Class of 2024, Reaksa Pin is a fresh B.A. graduate in global affairs from the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP). She has strong career interests in the fields of foreign affairs, diplomacy, and international development aid. Earlier this year, she made her career debut as a temporary assistant to the political affairs section at the Japanese Embassy in Cambodia. Prior to joining the Japanese Embassy, she undertook summer internships at Cambodia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, a local NGO called Global Peace Alliance - Cambodia, and U.S. Embassy Phnom Penh.
Reaksa is also an active youth volunteer, working in areas of youth diplomacy and youth engagement in matters of international relations. On campus, she served as a member of the student government and the University's Center for Southeast Asian Studies. Off-campus, Reaksa is part of TYS Cambodia, a local chapter of the Singapore-based youth organization, which focuses on ASEAN-China relations. She is currently the lead of TYS Cambodia's Research Department.
In addition to volunteering, Reaksa also holds an interest in the scholarly work of the field of international relations. She is an alumna of the 2023 Horizon Young IR Scholars program by Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS Cambodia), a German-based political think tank.
Sanhchivorn Tha

Sanhchivorn Tha has seven years of experience in restaurant management in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He is currently on the board of directors in Color Cup Cambodia, a restaurant group in Phnom Penh. Color Cup Cambodia has four restaurant branches, a café, and a holiday homestay. Prior to starting his own business, he was a marketing and research and development manager in one of the biggest restaurant chains in Phnom Penh. He also worked in a commercial team in Tesco International Sourcing at his first job.
Sanhchivorn finished his MBA, majoring in management from Auckland University of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand in 2017. He was awarded the New Zealand ASEAN Scholarship for international students. He completed his research thesis “Coping with fear of failure: experiences of young start-up entrepreneurs” and finished his degree with first class honors.
Sanhchivorn is an alumnus of the Global UGRAD program and during his program, he studied business management at Nazareth College, in Rochester, New York. Sanhchivorn obtained his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Pannasastra University of Cambodia.
