If you test positive for COVID-19 prior to your arrival, you must notify World Learning staff immediately and will be unable to take part in the seminar. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (fever, dry cough, loss of taste and smell, and difficulty breathing) and/or you test positive for COVID-19 during the seminar, you must self-isolate in your hotel room.
Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 must undergo isolation via a Home Surveillance Order (HSO) for seven (7) days in their hotel room. World Learning will arrange for meals to be delivered during this time. Individuals can be released from isolation on the 4th, 5th or 6th day when they are asymptomatic and the result of an RTK Ag test supervised by a registered medical practitioner is negative. Discharge on the 7th day does not require any COVID-19 detection test. World Learning staff will have extra antigen tests for participants who are experiencing any symptoms. Depending on the severity of the case, World Learning staff will work with the participant to arrange care at the local hospital.
Face masks are not required for participants to take part in seminar activities. World Learning will provide face masks at registration and during the seminar for any participants who wish to wear them.
